AKSHAY KAPADIA – VICE PRESIDENT, GLOBAL SUPPORT SERVICES

In his role as Vice President, Global Support Services Mr. Kapadia is responsible for establishing Octagon’s global operations in Asia Pacific and European regions. He has over 20 years of global, strategic and practical experience in leading organizations through expansion. He has extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical sales and marketing business processes as well as information management, vendor management, off-shoring and outsourcing.

Prior to joining Octagon, Mr. Kapadia served as vice president, Technology Services with PharmARC, Inc. where he was responsible for the Technology Services vertical and supported a team focused on product engineering, client implementations, project management, quality assurance and service delivery. Mr. Kapadia also served as senior vice president, Global IT at Cegedim S.A. and managing director of Dendrite Software India Private Limited and vice president, Offshore Operations of Dendrite International.

Mr. Kapadia holds a Masters degree in computer science from Queens College of the City University of New York, NY and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, (BITS), Pilani, India. He is also an Independent Corporate Director Certified by the Institute of Directors, London, UK.
